SELECTION OF CANDIDATES
Recruitment process starts only after receiving the requisite documents from the Employer. For labour categories (ECR), attestation by the Indian Embassy on the above documents is mandatory.
Permission from the Govt of India. On receipt of documents from the employer, RIC will seek sanction from the POE (Protectorate of Emigrants), Govt of India, for the recruitment to be undertaken. Above documents along with the copy of licence will be submitted by RIC to the POE for obtaining the sanction.
Procedure for selection of candidates consists of advertising, preliminary-screening out of available data bank / fresh inputs, preliminary interviews and short listing by the board of Directors and final interview by representative(s) of Employing Company.
RIC first shortlists the candidates based on its pre-liminary interview by its experts / Board of Directors. CVs of short listed candidates along with their certificates are forwarded to the Employer. The Employer or its representatives have the option to interview telephonically or through web cam or video conferencing or physical interview at the selected venue in the employees' country.
Selection can also be done by Raj International Consultants on behalf of the Employer, when authorized by them.
Documentation of selected candidates is carried out by RIC as per requirement of the Employer and the Govt of India rules and following documents are submitted to the Employer or the Recruitment agency for visa processing by them:-
- Copy of passport
- Passport size photograph
Visa & Transportation
It is the responsibility of the Employers to provide the visa and air tickets to the selected employees from the place of origin to destination. On receipt of visa and air ticket, RIC will co-ordinate take off of the candidates at the boarding location and reception at the arrival.
Professional Fee of RIC. An amount equivalent to one month's gross annual salary + Advertisement fee is charged by RIC for the services provided to the Employer, payable before the candidates leave the country.
Manpower Recruitment Agreement. A manpower recruitment agreement between Employing Company and RIC is signed by their representatives before RIC has to commence the recruitment process for its overseas partner
